31 Jan to 3 Mar 2012 - Visiting 15 venues across Scotland
Supported by The Friends of Scottish Opera
All aboard, all aboard! It’s that time of year again and our hugely popular Opera Highlights is setting off on a fifteen date tour the length and breadth of Scotland. A welcome winter warmer for audiences of all ages, it offers something for everyone, from seasoned fans to opera first-timers.
Four enthusiastic young singers will introduce a mixture of operatic styles, including arias, duets and ensembles from Verdi’s La traviata, Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Bizet’s Carmen as well as less well-known gems by Smetana, Ambroise Thomas, Rimsky-Korsakov and Emmerich Kalman.
The show promises to bring a glow to your cheeks and put a spring in your step. So avoid the rush, buy your tickets now and sit back and enjoy the ride!
