Weekly classes for 3 to 10 year olds

Opera is all about telling exciting, larger than life stories in which fantastic and sometimes unbelievable things happen, so it’s the perfect art form for kids to really let go and enjoy themselves. These weekly classes are run by a small, handpicked team of singers, language teachers, and drama and art specialists. Through song, games, art activities, drama, dance and more, they bring to life the music, language, culture and traditions of Spain and Italy, the home of opera.

Classes are sold in three 8-week terms. Activities and skills are developed throughout the year so to get the best out of the classes we recommend signing up for a whole year. Children are welcome to join the classes in terms 2 or 3 - not everything will be repeated but essential activities will be covered. And to make sure the children get a chance to show you what they’ve been up to, the summer term culminates in a special interactive open day, where they can show off their new-found skills to friends and family.

Italian Class 1a: 3 to 6 year olds 9:00am - 10:00am

Italian Class 1b: 3 to 6 year olds 10:15am – 11:15am
Italian Class 2: 7 to 10 year olds 11:30am – 1:00pm

Spanish Class 1: 3 to 6 year olds 1:15pm – 2:15pm
Spanish Class 2: 7 to 10 year olds 2:30pm – 4:00pm
 

Costs

3 to 6 year olds £62 (£41 conc*) - per term of 8-week classes

7 to 10 year olds £82 (£54 conc*) - per term of 8-week classes

*Concession prices available if the child's primary carer is a full time student, over 60, registered disabled or unwaged.
