La bohème Scottish Sun Performance

On Thursday 25 February, Scottish Sun readers flocked to the Theatre Royal to enjoy an exclusive performance of La bohème. Hundreds of readers snapped up tickets at an amazing deal of £9.50 each - and most of them were first-time opera goers.

The Scottish Sun featured a series of articles about the show, it's stars and behind the scenes crew who make the opera happen, as well as a full round up of the evening.

The audience included guests such as TV presenter Kaye Adams, Minister for Culture and External Affairs Fiona Hyslop and Miss Scotland Katharine Brown, who was recently crowned Miss UK.

Our General Director Alex Reedijk said, 'It was great to see so many new faces in the Theatre. We made them laugh and saw them cry as Mimi’s tragedy unfolded. I really hope that the Scottish Sun readers enjoyed the night so much that they’ll be back - we have many more stories to tell!'
