Join our Orchestra for a relaxed and intimate performance in one of Glasgow's most beautiful concert venues.
What better way to while away a Sunday afternoon than listening to a top-class orchestra in a relaxed and atmospheric setting?
Our St Andrew’s in the Square concert series has become a regular highlight in Glasgow’s musical calendar. The beautifully restored Georgian church provides the perfect setting for The Orchestra of Scottish Opera to leave the pit and take centre stage.
This season’s concerts have again been curated by Scottish Opera Music Director Francesco Corti and include a varied programme of music. Arias from Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro sit alongside Brahms’ 4th Symphony, Poulenc’s Sinfonietta, Stravinsky’s Wind Octet, and Schumann’s 2nd Symphony.
The concerts will also feature works by Giuseppe Martucci and Richard Strauss, as well as a performance of Beethoven's ever popular 5th Symphony.
See the full programme in our current leaflet.
Advance booking is highly recommended for these popular Sunday afternoon concerts.
