La bohème - Access information

Level access

There will be a ramp from the street up to the performance space, and access from there on will be level and step-free. There will be at least a 2m physical distance between each group space, or 'pod', so there will be enough space for wheelchairs to pass.

Accessible seating

All pods are accessible for wheelchairs. As this will require the removal of chairs, it would be much appreciated if you could let us know in advance if you require a wheelchair space in your pod or have any other accessibility needs. You can do so by emailing info@scottishopera.org.uk.

Due to physical distancing measures, we regret that we are not able to offer extra assistance or use of a venue wheelchair.

Essential companion tickets

Free essential companion tickets are available for those who need them.

The following codes will give you a £20 discount from your selected pod (equivalent to one free ticket per booking). When making your booking, please use one of the following codes at the checkout:

  • White pod (for 2 people) = BOHEMEWHITE20. This entitles entry to one full-price audience member and one free essential companion.
  • Green pod (for 3 people) = BOHEMEGREEN20. This entitles entry to two full-price audience members and one free essential companion.
  • Red pod (for 4 people) = BOHEMERED2020. This entitles entry to three full-price audience members and one free essential companion.

Please note that you may be asked for proof of entitlement on entrance, so please have your National Entitlement Card, or equivalent, with you.

Parking for Blue Badge holders

If you are a Blue Badge holder, we will reserve a car parking space for you as close to the entrance as possible. To book this, please email info@scottishopera.org.uk with your vehicle registration number.

Surtitles

We regret that we will not be able to provide surtitles for these performances. We will provide a programme for the performances free of charge on the Scottish Opera website, which we encourage you to read ahead of the performance.  Once this is available, a link will be provided here.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome, but we regret that we are unable to allow other dogs into the performance area.
