Touring to Glasgow, Tillicoultry, Helensburgh, Town Yetholm, Newton Stewart, Dunlop, Dalmally, Dornie, Stornoway, Gairloch, Newtonmore, Banchory, Fraserburgh, Cromarty, Orkney, Wick, Lairg, and Bathgate

Become a Friend of Scottish Opera to continue supporting shows such as Opera Highlights that bring opera to all across Scotland.
A troupe of talented singers traverse Scotland to bring an original piano-accompanied production to local venues. This vibrant, one-of-a-kind show is created specifically for Scottish Opera each season. Fiona MacSherry, Scottish Opera’s Head of Music, arranges some of opera’s greatest hits into an original narrative for this year’s two-phased tour.
Alongside Opera Highlights, Scottish Opera will also run a series of outreach workshops at schools and community venues across the tour, giving people a new way to interact with the stories and music of Opera Highlights. Booking for these free workshops will be available when each tour goes on sale.
