Scottish Opera is looking for an organised and proactive Outreach & Education Administrator to join our busy Outreach & Education Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, working with a variety of people and keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide essential administrative support across the department’s programme of education and outreach projects, workshops, events and activities.

You’ll be responsible for a varied range of tasks, including preparing payroll and financial information, coordinating contracts and employee paperwork, maintaining accurate records, collating project data and supporting departmental meetings and scheduling. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Outreach & Education as well as Finance and People & Culture.

We’re looking for someone with previous administrative experience, excellent organisational and IT skills, and a strong eye for detail. You’ll be confident managing deadlines, communicating with colleagues and handling a varied workload with accuracy and initiative. Experience in arts administration would be welcome, but is not essential.

This role is based at our Production Studios on Edington Street, Glasgow. The standard hours are 18 hours per week, with Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as essential office days, and flexibility around the remaining hours, including up to 6 hours working from home.
