Scottish Opera Flies The Flag for Human Rights

This week, Scottish Opera are flying the flag for human rights. We worked with Primary 3 pupils from St Joseph’s RC Primary School  in Glasgow who designed their own flags for human rights, which were displayed at a performance of Puffy McPuffer and the Crabbit Canals as part of our Pop-up Opera tour.

In honour of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, artist Ai Weiwei has designed a new flag for Human Rights. Everyone across the country is encouraged to Fly The Flag between 24 and 30 June. We are proud to be one of over 150 organisations in the UK involved with the project. Fly The Flag reminds us that human rights are for everyone, every day.
