  • Induction Loop Necklace; suitable for persons wearing a hearing aid, the induction loop necklace is worn around the neck. Whilst wearing the necklace, switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting and the sound is amplified. The necklace has an adjustable volume control.
  • Headset; this device amplifies sound through earpieces similar to regular headphones. Suitable for persons without a hearing aid

In addition, Theatre Royal Glasgow has introduced a new hearing enhancement system – Sennheiser Mobile Connect – accessed via your own smartphone or tablet, and using your own headphones, neck loop or compatible hearing aids.

Simply download the free Sennheiser Mobile Connect App from either the Apple Store here or Google Play here – no need to sign up or register. Once in the auditorium, connect to the wifi ‘Hearing Assist’. Adjust the sound levels to suit and listen through wired headphones, a neck loop or via Bluetooth. If you don't have a suitable device, the hearing loop system is still in place.
