For the next few weeks, we are excited to host The Nature Library at Willow Grove Café in our Edington Street Production Studios.
Available to visit until 20 October, this reference library and reading space, established and curated by artist Christina Riley, celebrates the endless connections between, land, sky and sea. Popping up in public spaces across Scotland, its travelling shelves hold many branches of nature writing from the classic to the contemporary, fiction and non-fiction, memoir, poetry and children’s books. The Nature Library aims to take its visitors somewhere new – to the edge of the sea, into the mountain or to the top of the tallest tree. It has previously been at Civic House in Glasgow, Birnam Arts, COAST Discovery Centre in Arran and Glasgow School of Art. Do pop in to see this wonderful library, and enjoy a cup of tea at the café!
