Tickets are now on sale for our playful new production of Opera Highlights, which explores and celebrates Scotland’s rich landscape.
Glasgow City Council’s Planning Applications Committee approved Scottish Opera’s application for a new headquarters for Scottish Opera. The design, which has been developed by Page\Park Architects, is for a thriving, mixed-use development on a site adjacent to the Glasgow branch of the Forth & Clyde Canal, which has laid derelict since the 1980s.
In our 2024/25 Season, you can enjoy The Orchestra of Scottish Opera in our opera productions and in concert throughout Scotland. From Glasgow and Edinburgh to Dundee and Ayr, they will be performing alongside a range of choir ensembles and world-class soloists.
On 25 September, the pupils of Hillhead Primary in Glasgow staged two special performances of our primary schools show The Last Aliens, as part of Scotland’s Climate Week.
Our specially created production of Albert Herring had its first two performances at the Corn Exchange in Haddington as part of Lammermuir Festival on September 5 and 6, directed by Daisy Evans with designs by Kat Heath.
