Scottish Opera is proud to have the support of many individuals who help us bring opera to the stage across Scotland, whilst they discover more about how we work behind the scenes. There are a number of ways you can choose to support our work and artists.
Our Friends support us from £45 each year, helping us take opera from Stranraer to Shetland and back again. And you can enjoy a range of opportunities to get closer to Scottish Opera, including study days, talks, rehearsals, recitals and opera holidays.
Named in honour of Scottish Opera’s founder, the members of the Alexander Gibson Circle support one of our productions every year and enjoy behind-the-scenes events and news. You can become a Patron from £15 per month.
We’ve been taking opera to people of all ages across Scotland for over 50 years. From very first experiences of live performance to those who have seen it all, our ground-breaking Education team is there every step of the way. Our Education Angels help to make their work possible.
Interested in new work? We firmly believe in investing in the future of opera, and have supported some fabulous new commissions in recent years with more to come. Our New Commissions Circle supports the creation and performance of new opera - contact us to find out more about how to support this exciting area of our work – at any level. You can donate online, or contact Grace Lyon for further information.
Want to support new talent? Our Emerging Artist Benefactors help us give young artists, including singers, directors, composers and costume trainees, the opportunity of a lifetime – a period of full-time work with the Company to help them launch their careers. You can donate online, download a donation form or find out more about our Emerging Artists.
Looking to leave a lasting impression? Make a difference in the future by leaving a gift to Scottish Opera in your will, and become part of our Dame Janet Baker Circle. We’d be delighted to have a chat about your thoughts, please contact Grace Lyon or download this form.
